Welcome to "The Tiny" at The Hemptons! The not-so-tiny house is nearly 400sf with plenty of space to stretch out. Each of the two bedroom lofts have a comfy queen bed on a low profile frame. The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking (read: Not good for Thanksgiving, but perfectly suited for standard cooking endeavors). Although we'd encourage you to check out many the local eateries (see below)! The bathroom is full size and likely bigger than the one in your first NYC apartment.
Enjoy breakfast on the deck or grill up some lunch on the BBQ. Take a hike up through the property's private fields and woods on the marked trails and catch a glimpse of the Catskill Mountains. Plenty to explore on-site, as well as in the surrounding area like Taconic State Park, Catamount Mountain Resort, Art OMI (outdoor art park) and Beebe Hill State Forest. Welcome to "The Studio" at The Hemptons! Situated on 70 acres of land, the Studio was formerly a tractor shed, but we gave it a total overall and now it makes for the perfect getaway. The space features a warm wood interior, concrete floors and open kitchen. The king size bed is tucked into a cozy alcove and light bounds throughout the open layout. The bathroom is full size and likely bigger than the one in your first NYC apartment.
Guests are free to wander about and explore the sprawling property. We are located 10 minutes to Chatham, 20-25 minutes to Hudson and Tanglewood. The Studio has a spacious and airy feel, yet also gives quaint and cozy vibes. Fully equipped, it makes for a perfect get away for the week. It's a peaceful space to relax, work or use as a home base to explore the area. We have a strict "no shoes" policy and while we love pets, they are not allowed.
